Wii backup is the ISO file. Import means you are importing game from another country.

I was just wondering,
When you extract the file from an original game disk it is a “.wii” file and people convert into “.iso”.
So my theory is that Wii can read the “.wii” files but not “.iso” files. (Without modding first)
So if people just uploaded the “.wii” file and we directly uploaded it to a DVD-R that is compatible with the Wii.
Couldn’t that be a solution for playing Backups on the Wii
without the need for Hardmod or Softmod?
If this isn’t true and would not work would you please explain why?

every game that i’ve dumped to my computer come as .iso files, so no probably not. softmod is free
